Pronto Pups and Politics – Volunteer at the Fair!
|
|
Cheese curds, corn dogs, and candidates – join us for the fun and action at the Great Minnesota Get-Together! Your help is needed to get our candidates’ message out to voters, and what greater audience than the Minnesota State Fair!
Be a part of the IP’s State Fair booth by volunteering for a 4 or 8 hour shift, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., or 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily; August 26 through Labor Day, September 6. We also need help several days prior to the Fair to set up the IP Booth. Bring your tools and your muscles to help us make our booth stand out and shine like our candidates!
It’s easy, it’s fun – and best of all it’s free! You’ll receive an admission ticket to the Fair! Please call Sally Paulsen at 651-487-9700 to volunteer today – or reply by email at: salpaulsen@gmail.com.

The Cast is Set – Let’s Get it Done!
|
|
A special message from Independence Party of Minnesota Treasurer Sally Paulsen:
The Primary Election is over, and Tom Horner’s landslide victory gives the IP huge momentum and unity going into the General Election against opponents Mark Dayton (DFL) and Tom Emmer (GOP). Visit the Independence Party’s website and check out our slate of strong, qualified candidates throughout the state.
Help us support all our candidates! They need your voice, your action and your contributions. But there is no limit to what an individual can contribute to a state Political Party Unit. Help your Independence Party stand behind all of our candidates this election by making your most generous contribution today!
Our opponents receive hundreds of thousands of dollars from special interests whose influence on legislation has near-bankrupt our state, not to their mention smear-campaigns that flood our television and airwaves. Our candidates campaign hard on the issues. We depend on YOU!
We have an incredible opportunity to make a difference this election! Your action is needed now – and we are grateful for your continued support!

At 11:45 there will be a rally for unity and peace and a lunch served at noon. Come join us for a chance to meet Amy and to support a great cause.
5pm: IP Night at the Saints
Strikeout the Wingnuts!
Wingnuts…you know who they are. Pesky extremists who operate under the ruse of an elected official. They use their personal and party agendas to derail common sense legislation from the greater good.
And we’re here to STRIKE’EM OUT!
Join the Independence Party as we watch the St. Paul Saints take on the Wichita Wingnuts on Saturday, June 26. Enjoy a pregame tailgating picnic and mingle with IP supporters and candidates, including the IP’s endorsed candidate for governor and special guest, Tom Horner. We welcome everyone to this fun event – bring your family and friends and help us cheer on the Saints as we both try to strikeout Wingnuts!
